Fabric Softener

There are a lot of home made softener recipes available on the net. I’ve been using this one for some time and really like it. It can be scaled up or down easily (for instance, you can make 1/2 this recipe to see if you like it OR double the recipe for a gallon when you know you love it)

4 cups Water

3 cups vinegar

½ cup baking soda

10-15 drops essential oil (lavender, lemon, eucalyptus, tea tree oil – choose your favorite or favorite blend!)

Combine essential oil(s) and baking soda – mix well. Add water, then vinegar. It’s going to fizz up. DO NOT PUT THE LID ON YOUR CONTAINER UNTIL THE FIZZING STOPS.

Use – 1/4 to 1/2 cup per load.
